Στα εγκαίνια της έκθεσης «Ρήγας και Επανάσταση» παρευρέθηκε η Μαρία Αντωνίου
Στα εγκαίνια της έκθεσης «Ρήγας και Επανάσταση» που πραγματοποιήθηκαν τη Δευτέρα 19 Νοεμβρίου 2018 στη Βουλή, από τον Πρόεδρο της Δημοκρατίας κ. Προκόπη Παυλόπουλο, παρευρέθηκε η Μαρία Αντωνίου.
Η έκθεση που πραγματοποιείται στο πλαίσιο της συμπλήρωσης των 220 χρόνων από τον θάνατο του Ρήγα Βελεστινλή και αποτελεί προοίμιο των εκδηλώσεων που θα ακολουθήσουν με αφορμή τον εορτασμό της συμπλήρωσης των 200 χρόνων από την Επανάσταση του 1821, επιχειρεί να αναδείξει, μέσα από τεκμήρια που συγκεντρώθηκαν από όλη την Ελλάδα, συμπεριλαμβανομένης και της Καστοριάς, τους πνευματικούς και ιδεολογικούς όρους που οδήγησαν τον Ρήγα στη μετάβαση από τον λόγιο πατριωτισμό στη ριζοσπαστική επαναστατική δράση, όπως και στη δραματική κατάληξη με τον βίαιο και οδυνηρό θάνατο του ίδιου και των επτά συντρόφων του.
